Hope Endures Guests

March 17, 2009

Join us with Special Guests

lael

Thursday, March 17th show

Lael Arrington, author of Godsight,
will be here with host Lisa Copen. Lael has lived
with rheumatoid arthritis for years and will share her insight into what she has learned about faith and living with a chronic illness. Visit her web site at laelarrington.com

Take the humor and passion of a mostly reformed “Cosmic Blonde,” add the depth of a master’s degree in the history of ideas, and tenderize with twenty-five years of rheumatoid arthritis. Salt with years of biblical study, spice up with life as a pastor’s wife and you have Lael Arrington—an author, speaker and radio host with a mission to move hearts and minds for Christ. >Read mor about Lael here

Join us with Special Guest Claudette Palatsky

February 25, 2009

Join us next Tuesday, March 3rd.

Claudette will be talking to us about “I Feel Guilty Because I’m Not Doing Enough.”

Do you ever feel like you should be doing more? Is your illness holding you back and you don’t understand God’s purpose in the pain and your limitations? Fellow pain sufferer, Claudette Palatsky, wrote “Think It Not Strange” with high hopes for Christians living with persistent painful illnesses.

Bedridden, with Bible in hand, she has had a lengthy and unique opportunity for extensive learning, from the Supreme Sufferer Himself. It is her belief that all one needs can be found in a life “hidden with Christ in God” (Colossians 3:3). Claudette resides with her husband and their teenage son in California. She was attending church at Calvary Chapel of Downey for over 20 years but currently fellowships at Olive Branch Calvary Chapel (OBCC), where her husband, Steve leads worship. Her son goes to Biola University, plays guitar, and is involved in worship ministry. See her web site at thinkitnotstrange.com
